Yes, yes ... here in Australia they are known as the 'paw-paw'. Sprinkle them with the juice of a lemon or a lime and they are a delicious, refreshing fruit with a delightful flesh.
I missed this fruit, in the Philippines this is very abundant too. We call it there "kapayas" not too far from the word "papaya" ^_^ Here in the US I still could find it here in the supermarket but I am not sure if it's as good as what I used to have in the Philippines so I don't dare to buy it.
